This Simple Apple Crisp is made with recent sliced apples coated in a cinnamon and brown sugar sauce, then topped with a cinnamon oat topping!
INGREDIENTS
CINNAMON OAT TOPPING
- 1/2 cup (65g) all goal flour
- 1 cup (90g) quaint rolled oats
- 3/4 cup (168g) packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp floor cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chilly butter, lower into cubes
APPLE FILLING

- 5 cups (595g) thinly sliced granny smith apples (about 4 massive apples)
- 1/4 cup (56g) packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp (16g) all goal flour
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp floor cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 levels.
2. Add the entire elements for the topping, apart from the butter, to a medium sized bowl and stir to mix.
3. Add the chilly butter and use a pastry cutter or fork to chop the butter into the dry elements till the combination is crumbly and comes collectively. Put aside.
4. Mix all of the elements for the apples and stir collectively in order that the apples are nicely coated, then pour the combination into an 8 or 9 inch sq. dish. 5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
6. Bake for about 40 minutes, till the topping is golden across the edges and the apples are tender. Enable to chill for about quarter-hour previous to serving.
